How credits work.
Buy credits, brief the work, and hold the money until you have seen it. Credits reach your agency when you approve a milestone — not before.
The lifecycle.
Credits move through five stages, and you are the gate on every one of them.
Step 1
Choose a plan or buy credits directly. They land in your wallet at your account’s own rate.
Step 2
Describe the project. The quote comes back as three tiers, each priced for the same scope.
Step 3
Pick a tier and that many credits go on hold. Nothing has left your wallet yet.
Step 4
You choose the winning agency and the hold settles into the project’s escrow.
Step 5
Confirm a milestone and its credits release from escrow to the agency. Matchii handles the payout.
You hold the key. Credits never leave escrow without your confirmation. If a milestone is not right, ask for the revision — the credits stay where they are until you say the work is done.

Example figures, for shape only. The rate on your account is the one your wallet reports.
A credit is not a flat currency. Each account carries its own cents-per-credit rate, and committing further improves it — the same budget buys more agency work on a bigger plan than on a smaller one. That rate lives on your account, so the honest answer to “what is a credit worth” is whatever your wallet says today.
The credits themselves sit in a wallet, the way a ride app holds a balance. You see the balance, the holds against briefs, and every release. The agency has its own wallet on the other side, and the platform moves the money between them.
Your wallet. Credits in, holds out, releases logged. Every movement is a ledger line you can read back.
The agency’s wallet. Credits arrive per confirmed milestone. The platform converts and pays out, so an agency never chases an invoice.
Your own rate. The cents-per-credit rate is set on your account and reported by your wallet. Nothing on this page is a quote.

Plan-based credit rates
Subscription plans are not live on Matchii yet, so the three rates above are an illustration rather than a rate card. A signed-in wallet already shows the rate that applies to your account, and credits can be bought against it today.
Milestone approval.
A project is delivered in milestones, and credits release one milestone at a time. You review the deliverable before any of it moves.

Totals from the example above, so the arithmetic can be checked. Your own numbers live on the project in your workspace.
Credit math.
Three worked examples of how a scope breaks into milestones. They are illustrations for planning, not platform averages — your own brief comes back priced as three tiers.

The rules.
Unused credits carry forward month to month for as long as your plan is active. There is no use-it-or-lose-it deadline, so a balance can be saved up for a larger project.
Cancel and the credits you already bought stay available for ninety days — long enough to finish what is running or to start one last piece of work.
Credits committed to a project sit in escrow. They move on your confirmation, milestone by milestone, and anything still unreleased comes back to your balance.
There is no matching fee, platform fee or transaction fee added to your credits. The tier price is the price. Matchii is paid from the spread between what you pay and what the agency is paid, and neither side is shown the other’s number.
Questions.
The brief tool scopes the work and prices it as three tiers before you commit a single credit. It costs nothing to try.
